I vote that since she seems excluded in the book already, Anya gets her own sub group to lead, a team that will have May, Lady Spider, and Takuya Yamashiro, so that Anya has things to do. Also, they travel across realities in Marveller, that way if the Earth they land on has a toxic atmosphere, they are safe.
I’m not sure how I feel about Takuya being part of the team.
On one hand, fyeah Takuya!
On the other, having Leopardon on your team makes the work easier. And the writer would probably pull some nonsense to justify the lack of Leopardon on the missions. That and I can see full Worf effect on it.
Unless it takes a Power Rangers/Super Sentai format and the enemies become giants/pull giant mechas for the final battle. Each member of the team gets their very own mecha, combining with Leopardon at the end. Throw in there Ultimate Jessica Drew and you have the five members.

Yeah, don’t want to downplay Leopardo, but he is way OP. I do like the idea of them all fighting giant monsters, maybe a plot point could be the many spider totems dying to the vampires dudes made other kinds of totems stronger, allowing some to be able to change into monstrous sizes and forms. So like Doc Ock can tap into an octopus totem and turn into a giant monster.

Another way around it might be like some of the villains would be terrorizing in cities with relatively thin streets, and the heroes worry Leopardo might be too big and would damage the buildings. So in that case they have to either fight the villain alone, or if it is really tough they lure the foe out of the city, for Leopardo to crush them.
