I’ve answered versions of this statement, what, two or three times now? The answer remains the same today: if this bothers you, then you’re probably right to avoid it.
“Magic Arm of Disability” is the dumbest thing I’ve read this morning.
“Magic Arm of Disability Superpowers” actually, that last word being crucial here. To be clear - Nico fans don’t have problem with her being disabled. We have a problem with there being gorillion of magic powers attached to her prosthesis, reducing her disability to a powerup. I recommend this and this articles which explore the problem with disability superpowers in great detail and are written by actually disabled people.
