Never forget Earth-8096

Actually Autistic writer, fan of the Unstoppable Wasp and Helper

wakabamm asked: What Marvel comics do you suggest for fans who love the history and continuity? It seems it's mostly ignored for what you consider "good stories", however I've always felt a good story can and should have some continuity and be inviting.

Let me turn that around on you: what stories do you believe fulfill that criteria?

Marvels seems like a safe bet.

It’s so hard to add recommendations after that (aside from its sequel (”Eye of the Camera”)

But I can think of Greg Pak’s Incredible Hercules, the fist volume of Agents of Atlas, Peter David’s X-Factor run(s), JMS’s The Twelve, Ed Brubaker’s Captain America, Al Ewing’s Mighty Avengers stuff …

And pretty much anything from the writers I mentioned.

And on that note, if History is what you’re after, it’s best to avoid Dennis Hopeless and Brain Michael Bendis. I like a lot of what Bendis has writtena nd even like the way he writes dialogue (in moderation), but they share a “force characters into the role I need them to fill” mentality that actively hates their history.

But that’s just my thoughts on things.
